Category 1: IET/MATE ROV Competition (Hong Kong Regional Competition)

Two classes under the MATE ROV competitions - Explorer Class and Ranger Class - will be held. The winning teams in these two classes will be nominated to join the MATE International Competition. Therefore, the registration fee will be composed of two parts - a registration fee to IET Hong Kong and a registration fee to the MATE organization.

Category 2: IET ROV Competition - Rookie Challenge

This category is opened for those secondary schools that have not received any top awards including Championship, First-runner up and Second-runner up in any classes in past three years.
